Time really flies. Jonathan was just a few days old a year ago! Now he is, knows how to do 'gong xi gong xi' to collect ang pows!
There were not much house visiting for us, although it is always the norm for us to visit my parents on the 1st day of CNY and Dick's mum on the 2nd day. However, his mum has volunteered to cook us dinner on the 1st day.
This year my dad's siblings gathered at Uncle Peter's house, so we went there for our lunch and stayed through till dinner time, then we left for my mother-in-law's house. Whole day of eating. And uncle's Si Chuan Duck soup is fantastic, although I have managed to drink one bowl after so much food. They had a few rounds of mahjong session but I can only be a spectator. Even though I do not have much thing to do there, I just enjoyed myself there. Somehow I feel closer to my uncles, maybe since young I had been spending time at my grandma's house with my uncles during my school holidays.
2nd day of New Year we went to cousin's house for my mother's side gathering. We were not as close to the relatives there, so none of us actually likes the idea of doing visiting there. But since they are my mum's siblings and Ah Yee is there, so we have decided to go there to 'bai nian'.
Well, Jonathan had been seeing RED for the first 3 days of new year. On the first day, he slipped his hands while crawling on the floor at Uncle Peter's house. He cut his lips and bled. I got a shot when I saw that too, first time seeing him in so much blood. Then on the 2nd day, at mum's place, his daddy was trying to 'show-off' his walking skill, he fell straight down on his face while in standing position! Again, cut his tongue and had one big 'ba lu gu' on his forehead! Then come the 3rd day, his gor gor gave him a somersault kick right on his cheek and it got swollen! What a start of the year for Jonathan! ha.

Gu Gu is not feeling well today, so I have running over to help up a little. So paiseh every year we just go there to eat only, only when you have helped out then know how tidious it has been preparing all those food. We had steamboat that day.
