And later part in this clip, Jon actually pushed his brother away a couple of times just because his brother took his toy away. I scolded him and made him stand with his hands behind, and he did!

Mar 31, 2009 - Edna's Birthday on 1 April

It was my sister, Edna's birthday on 1st April. So we met up for lunch at Swenson for their 1-for-1 promotion. Well, we had quite a big portion of lunch, to think that we are on diet..keke.

How's the bouquet? Well, I bundled that up myself but it took me 2 hours!!!

Feb28,09 - Brought Joshua and Joel to Science Centre again before the membership expires end of March. Well, their favourite dinosaur icon is still there.

So this is the first and last, since the membership is going to expire soon and I don't think I'm going to renew that. They are way too young to make full use of the membership.

I think both of them have no idea how DEEP is 1.8m, the moment the jump into the pool, they just start to swim. For me, I always cringed a little the moment they jump into such deep pool, 'cos mummy CAN'T SWIM!! HAHA.

Feb 14, 09 - That day is not only Jonathan & Vivi Ang's wedding day, but it was also Vivi's birthday. Jonathan gave her a surprise by giving her a big heart shaped cake and this big heart that is made of 999 stalk of roses! How romantic he is. And that has become a centre of attraction and attracted a number of people on stage to take a picture (not with the bride) with the heart.

Feb 8, 2009 - We have taught Jonathan since young not to touch things that are not his toy, eg. our mobile phone, TV control, etc. So from a tender age of 8 or 9 months, he dare not touch those items. On a couple of occasions, I managed to catch him holding on to TV controller, but the moment he saw me, he quickly roll over to me in his walker to hand me the controller. This is a recent clip just to test if he STILL remembers the rules that were set out for him.

Feb 2, 2009 - Jonathan enjoys eating chilli shrimp roll and pineapple tarts.

I would not say the chilli shrimp roll is very spicy, but for a baby, it is considered very spicy. Even Joshua also doesn't dare to try that. I would say, it takes some courage and 'perseverance' to bite into that shrimp roll. Perseverance because you will need to 'tahan' until the spicy hot feeling is gone, and that will take a fair bit of time.

And pineapple tarts seemed like his all-time favourites... haiz, now I have another person 'fighting' to eat pineapples tarts with me liao...

They had the men's & women's table for their mahjong session. Feeling bored, I left Joshua there to play computer game while I brought Joel to shop at Compass Point.

2009 Chinese New Year - 恭喜发财

Time really flies. Jonathan was just a few days old a year ago! Now he is, knows how to do 'gong xi gong xi' to collect ang pows!

There were not much house visiting for us, although it is always the norm for us to visit my parents on the 1st day of CNY and Dick's mum on the 2nd day. However, his mum has volunteered to cook us dinner on the 1st day.

This year my dad's siblings gathered at Uncle Peter's house, so we went there for our lunch and stayed through till dinner time, then we left for my mother-in-law's house. Whole day of eating. And uncle's Si Chuan Duck soup is fantastic, although I have managed to drink one bowl after so much food. They had a few rounds of mahjong session but I can only be a spectator. Even though I do not have much thing to do there, I just enjoyed myself there. Somehow I feel closer to my uncles, maybe since young I had been spending time at my grandma's house with my uncles during my school holidays.

2nd day of New Year we went to cousin's house for my mother's side gathering. We were not as close to the relatives there, so none of us actually likes the idea of doing visiting there. But since they are my mum's siblings and Ah Yee is there, so we have decided to go there to 'bai nian'.

Well, Jonathan had been seeing RED for the first 3 days of new year. On the first day, he slipped his hands while crawling on the floor at Uncle Peter's house. He cut his lips and bled. I got a shot when I saw that too, first time seeing him in so much blood. Then on the 2nd day, at mum's place, his daddy was trying to 'show-off' his walking skill, he fell straight down on his face while in standing position! Again, cut his tongue and had one big 'ba lu gu' on his forehead! Then come the 3rd day, his gor gor gave him a somersault kick right on his cheek and it got swollen! What a start of the year for Jonathan! ha.

Gu Gu is not feeling well today, so I have running over to help up a little. So paiseh every year we just go there to eat only, only when you have helped out then know how tidious it has been preparing all those food. We had steamboat that day.

Jonathan 1st Birthday - 13th January 2009

Happy Birthday to Jonathan!

Yes, Jonathan is finally turning ONE on 13th!







13th Jan falls on a Tuesday but both Dick & I took leave to bring Jon out to celebrate. Our usual practice is to bring Jon out to celebrate at Swenson @T2 for their 1st year birthday, which we did so for Joshua & Joel, BUT this round we were a bit lazy to travel that far. Anyway we have to wait for Joel to come back from school, so after his beauty nap, it's too late to travel far anyway.





We went shopping at J8 and ended up New York New York for dinner. We have invited my parents to join us for dinner too. hmmm... why every time when taking family photos cannot see mummy one....







Jonathan kept staring at our food ... that is what happened lately, he keeps thinking our food tastes better than his. In a way, he is right! haha.
