Family Visit to Sentosa on 7 September 2008

Joel & Joshua waiting for train to Sentosa Island.

Joel kept wanting to into the Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom, not because they enjoyed looking at butterflies or insects, but they SAW the dinosaurs wallpaper at the entrance to the park!!

Joshua posed infront of the dinosaurs wallpaper.

Ouch... the beetle is biting me....

Joshua, Joel & mummy out at the Butterfly Park.

Stick insect... and it is supposed to be a male. He is only about 3 weeks old. By the 3rd month, he will be full grown to about maybe double the length with wings. The keeper is kind enough to introduce and educate us on the breed of insect, their life span, etc. He also told us that usually the male insect has shorter life span because they are the ones who will fly about looking for food as well as looking for mates... while the female insect will stay put at their favourite plant and feed on it.

The 'stick' is a male stick insect and the yellow one female. The female one will change its color according to the color of the plant she attaches to, thus making herself a less prominent prey than the male insect.

wow... Look! How brave Joshua is! He is having the 3 weeks old baby scorpion on his left arm.

And as usual, Joel saw his brother having the baby scorpion, he too, allow the baby scorpion to rest on his left arm.

Taking Sentosa Island Bus round the island to the next attractions spot.

Joshua with Oscar, Songs of the Sea

Joel took picture with Oscar at Songs of the Sea

We have planned to watch Songs of the Sea but they are only starting earliest at 7.40pm. The boys were too tired to last from morning till then. So we decided to visit them again during our next visit.

Aug15,08 - Jonathan @31 weeks... com'on baby, yeh yeh!

Aug9,08 - Jonathan dressed to go gai gai. He has not been going out often, unless we are going to places where hot water, diaper changing area are easily available.

Aug8,08 - Jonathan @30 weeks. Now looks like he has more hair, hor?? :-P

JOSHUA

Sep14,08 - Joshua took a self-portrait of himself using my mobile.

Sep6,08 - Joshua after his gym session. Not bad, this is his first session and he is enjoying it.

Aug9,08 - Joshua going out to celebrate National Day.

Aug3,08 - Joshua posing on one side... to hide away the bruises on his right cheek. Till now, he can even tell me he looks 'ugly' now because of the bruise!

Jul29,08 - Joshua @Chinatown.

Well, the best part is, after making 'complaint' to the boy's mum, she simply say 'oh, my son is naughty lor' and cut off everything else I need to say! So my thought is, does it mean that my son can hit him back too, making scar somewhere on his face, then I just tell his mom... 'oh, my son is naughty, TOO!' ??

Jul24,08 - Joshua was being pushed over purposely by his classmate. He has hit hard against the side of the chair, thus causing the bruises on his face. Till NOW (17Sep08), the bruise on his face is still obvious and the surface also 'sunken' when he smile! I am going to bring him to a specialist and make claims against the boy's mum!

Jul21,08 - Joshua with his robot creation using lego like building blocks.

JOEL

Aug9,08 - Joel again going out with his Bandana. I still think he looks good in it.

Aug8,08 - Joel going for his National Day's celebration in school.

Aug3,08 - Joel loves his bandana... and I thought he looks cool in it.

July21,08 - Joel with his new creation using hmmm... dunno what you call that, something similar to lego.
